Located in the Historical 1884 General Store on Front Street, The Design Haus features unique home decor items with focus on Fleur de lis items, soy candles, handmade soaps and bath salts. We have a wide variety of handmade jewelry and beadwork classes.

The Design Haus' goal is to make your shopping a relaxing, comfortable, and welcoming experience. Pleasing scents and soothing music will greet you as you walk in. We hope that our customers come back to visit, browse and chat with us.

The Design Haus opened in October 2008 with the grand opening on November 22, 2008. The two partners focus on one of the two aspects of The Design Haus. Deb handles the home decor side and Laura creates the handmade jewelry sold at the store. Deb keeps the store stocked with stylish home decor items and offers free in-store design consultations and specializes in window treatments, fabric selection and matching home decor accessories. A stylish motif doesn't have to be expensive to be attractive. Laura can create custom jewelry designs for clients if they have a special occasion or wardrobe to match.

In addition we offer adorable baby hats and headbands; floral arrangements; soy candles; bath salts; wine stoppers; Fleur-de-lis decorative items and decorative plaques. We plan to hold crafts classes in the upstairs portion of the building.
